Our 60th Anniversary
2023-2024 marks the 60th Anniversary of West Valley Chinese Language School! To celebrate, the student council will organize a 60th anniversary party on May 10th, 2024. Have fun eating ice cream and drinking boba while celebrating the school's milestone! Parents can buy the treats from 7 pm - 9 pm and after school.
Significance
60 is a significant number in Chinese culture as it symbolizes one full circle of life. The 60th birthday is recognized as an important point as the beginning of a new life circle. Traditionally, the 60th is the first birthday to be marked with a big celebration.
